I thought the photo would be of general interest to members and maybe even some company could produce this slotted foam by machine. The pupae came in layers like this with a thin piece of foam between layers. These all pack into a small cardboard box....my guess is that you don't need to consider cool packs in most situations...these certainly didn't have any...in fact I never use cool packs when sending pupae and never have had any problems. Apart from being in perfect condition the box required was small light and cheap for posting.
